SUMMARY

Savance Enterprise, an ERP solution purpose-built for wholesale distributors, is looking for a professional Sales Account Executive to help us grow our ERP/software business. In this role, the Sales Account Executive will leverage strategic lead generation, research, and professional communication skills to garner interest in and sell our ERP software solution. The Sales Account Executive will serve as the primary relationship owner for newly acquired client accounts. The majority of your time will be spent focused on account management, proposals, meeting with prospects, and attending prospect-rich trade show events. The right candidate will have a passion for software and a true desire to learn how to properly demonstrate the capabilities of our all-inclusive solution.

Excellent proposal development, presentation, and negotiating skills are needed to succeed in this role. The Sales Account Executive must demonstrate expertise in gaining access and selling to the mid to senior-level decision makers. The Sales Account Executive is expected to be self-motivated, self-directed, and always interested in learning about the product and wholesale distribution industry.  This is a great opportunity for fast growth for anyone with a love for sales and distribution.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The Sales Account Executive’s job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Within the first week, generate a 30/60/90 day sales strategy plan
  • Responsible for the development of account plans for target accounts
  • Responsible for building and maintaining sales pipeline in CRM 
  • Engage in professional, outbound telephone conversations, follow-ups, and well-written email communications to nurture long-term relationships with prospects
  • Develop and qualify leads to drive additional sales opportunities through cold-calling,, lead-generation campaigns, and modern social selling techniques.
  • Pre-qualify sales opportunities using defined targets and classifications
  • Secure in-depth demonstrations with qualified prospects to support sales goals
  • Communicate Savance’s overall value proposition and key market differentiators to new prospects
  • Work closely with marketing to generate and cull down qualified prospects during pre-event campaigns
  • Generate your own trade show target lists and book meetings
  • Utilize HubSpot CRM to track daily engagement activity, prepare/maintain records for sales leads, update account status and incorporate data into the HubSpot workflow
  • Manage your Sales Pipeline by organizing webinars, conducting demos, preparing proposals, traveling to prospective clients, preparing contracts, and closing deals
  • Attend weekly sales meetings
  • Attend industry events for the purposes of lead generation, B2B relationship building, and increasing industry visibility
  • Responsible for achieving monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales goals

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required
  • 3+ years in a sales analyst or sales representative role; ERP software sales experience is preferred
  • Ability to work 40 hours remotely per week
  • CRM experience required; HubSpot preferred
  • Proven track record of strong interpersonal and communication skills including writing, editing, and presenting
  • Proven history of consistently achieving and exceeding sales targets
  • Must be able to respond to inquiries in a positive manner while maintaining a professional demeanor
  • Self-motivated to expand personal professional knowledge of product and selling skills, and pursue high-performance achievement
  • Proficient in Google suite (Docs, Sheets, Drive & Mail); Knowledge of MS Office is a plus
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Team player with a positive “can-do” approach
  • Technical knowledge and ability or willingness to learn how to demo software
  • Ability to work directly with the customer
  • Ability to travel as needed
