SUMMARY

Savance Enterprise, an ERP solution purpose-built for wholesale distributors, is looking for an experienced Presales Solutions Specialist to manage lead generation and business development efforts. The Presales Solutions Specialist is responsible for supporting the Sales team as a trusted advisor throughout the sales engagement process, aiding in qualifying business opportunities, and communicating Savance Enterprise’s value proposition and competitive differentiators to wholesalers in the PHCP, PVF, HVAC, Electrical, Lighting and wholesale vertical markets.

The ideal candidate is friendly, motivated, comfortable talking on the phone, and enjoys communicating. Relaying confidence over the phone is key to this role. The candidate must have solid verbal and written communication skills.

This is a fantastic opportunity for the right individual with a sales mindset who wants to be part of a dynamic and experienced team. In addition, this position allows for additional compensation on top of a base salary for booking qualified lead demonstrations. This is a mid-level position with the opportunity to advance quickly.

The position is 100% remote.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The Presales Solutions Specialist job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Research and pre-qualify wholesale businesses in our well-established CRM database
  • Identify key C-level contacts with decision-making authority
  • Engage with potential customers to understand and discover their ERP needs.
  • Engage in professional, outbound telephone conversations, follow-ups, and well-written email communications to nurture long-term relationships
  • Pre-qualify sales opportunities using defined targets and classifications
  • Secure in-depth demonstrations with qualified leads
  • Gather and update information in the CRM database as needed
  • Leverage internal marketing efforts to generate interest in Savance’s products and software services
  • Utilize and enhance sales scripts to better target the needs/interests of prospective clients
  • Proactively tune marketing and prospect communications as appropriate
  • Leverage social media platforms as a business tool
  • Work closely with marketing to generate leads via trade shows, partnerships, mail, and phone campaigns
  • Log all sales activity in HubSpot CRM 
  • Attend trade shows and events as needed

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in sales and/or marketing required
  • Minimum of 3 years of successful sales experience required
  • Experience in ERP software sales preferred but not required, proficient in concepts around cloud and infrastructure
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills: writing, editing, and presenting
  • Proven history of consistently meeting or exceeding annual/quarterly goals for a B2B organization
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Proficient in Google Suite (Docs, Drive, Sheets) & MS Office
  • Knowledge of HubSpot CRM and experience is a plus
  • A college degree is preferred, but not required
